A typical strategy mission would start with a brief strengths and weaknesses assessment of the client’s business (from an external expert’s perspective), an option mapping & SWOT analysis (growth, margin improvement), a definition of the strategy and value chain integration concept, and the implementation planning (business plan and related targets, required actions, KPI’s and milestones, responsibilities, and timing).
Subsequently implementation support can be rendered on a longer-term basis by agreement.
Apart from answering the question of “which options are most attractive for growth and margin improvement”, addressing the question of whether it can be done is fundamental to success - especially in technical textile, nonwoven, and composite markets which are marked by high entry barriers.
